I was born and raised in Ontario, moved to BC with my wife and four small children, and have lived in BC now for 41 years. I am a retired millwright and the author of two books.
Eight years ago I noticed a small article in the Province newspaper about one Dennis Shaw starting a new party for BC. I followed up on this and found that the party is saying many of the same things I had been talking to others about for years. I immediately joined the party and have been an active member ever since.
I am much more concerned about my grandchildren's future in BC than my own. Therefore the most important issue on my mind is to give BC back to the people of BC. Thanks to the BC Refederation Party we can do this through a system of true Direct Democracy where the people have the final say in any legislation that is passed in BC. I along with the other members of this party will fight to make this happen.
