Ron Fuson
I was born in Prince George and grew up in the area stretching between Terrace, Surrey and Chetwynd.
I’ve lived and worked out of the Cowichan Valley for the past thirteen years and been a small business owner for over 17 years, working on the lower mainland and here on Vancouver Island.
19 years ago an experience altered my simple view of the world around. It challenged me to look for the cause of effect, and I’ve spent these years searching for the root cause of our most prominent failing. I don’t have all of the answers, but I do believe that collectively, we can overcome our greatest obstacles.
In light of the recent economic downturn, with its global reach and, more importantly, its local significance, it seems that the time is ripe for a change. A change that would see people become involved in their communities. A change which would hear people becoming more vocal in their support, or dissent, of things that affect us all. A change, that would have us all feeling that our vote does make a difference to our community. This is why I feel compelled to join the BC Refederation Party and to serve my community within a proven system of government that places the power of the vote with those who are most affected… the people. BC Refed’s system enshrines the basic rights of every man, woman and child, within a written constitution.
I invite you to become an active and ongoing part of your friends’ and families’ better future by joining this new centrist party’s plan for constructive change and personal empowerment.
