I moved to Powell River in 1991 and I have lived, worked in and run a small wireless communications business providing products and service to city, boating, logging and mining as well as non-commercial customers up and down the Sunshine Coast. I was born in the East Kootany of BC and have lived and worked in British Columbia all my life. I have lived, worked and experimented with my own small business while living in the Vancouver Lower Mainland for 28 years. The stroke of both federal and provincial Liberals pens cost my business and many others small or micro businesses. Problems then and after with government and hearing the stories of so many others both workers and self-employed made my decision to run.
I have been with the Canadian Armed Forces for 12 years. Serving as a Senior NCO in Communications Command/Royal Canadian Signal Corps establishes my ability to communicate, manage information, problem solve, work in teams, complete projects and tasks. It also gave me the skills and confidence to take on responsibility, personal management skills and safety at work. I was responsible for supervising and training up to 60 people and self-continuous learning.
You have access to 35 years experience including organizations like Canadian Armed Forces, CNCP Telecommunications, Sperry Univac Computer Systems, Canadian General Electric, Mircotel/Lenkurt, Radio Shack, Canadian Electronics, Telemarine Technologies, North Island Communications, self-employment and Private Security Services.
My education includes learning centers like Prince of Wales, Canadian Armed Forces, Vancouver Community College, Malaspina College/University, Education Direct and Academy of Learning, Justice Institute of BC, Excel College. My diplomas and certifications include Electronics Technician (Telecom Option), Network+/Server +, Computer Technician, Business Management, Computer Graphic Arts and Auto Marine Technician, Emergency First Aide, Air Breaks, SNR NCO, Open Water Scuba Diver, Basic Ocean Sailing, Down Hill Skier, Force 2 Wind Surfing, Private Security Services (BST).
I am a citizen of British Columbia and the last 35 years have been very troubling, as I have watched BC deteriorate rapidly over those years. I, like everyone else have voted for the other parties for years and like those other voters you only get to vote once and are never paid attention to again. This will not do. I have been to Federal and Provincial town hall and candidate meetings and have watched the frustration of the people, tired of not being listened to and having no say past election. I decided to run for the BC Refederation Party, as the others were all the same and the same groups of people running them. The BC Refederation Party is the only party that did not have the usual people that run the other parties and had the only clear and decisive polices to tackle the problems.
This is the only party that believes in equality for all, real democracy not the elected dictatorship format currently of government and the restoration of the Canadian federation to its original intended format.
I served as a director for the Federal Reform Party for Powell River and volunteered for the campaigns over the years and volunteered for the local cable channel as a camera operator, etc. during the last 17 years on the Sunshine Coast. I have done my time on the phones, put up and maintained signs etc. during those campaigns.
I ran for MLA for the Powell River Sunshine coast riding for Western Refederation Party of BC now BC Refederation Party in the BC 2005 election and now will be running again in 2009.
Why I am running
Election 2009 is the most Important election of your life and our peoples' future as it could be Point of No Return. To continue with the Flavour Parties (Liberal, NDP and Green) could mean the end of our Way of Life and Quality of life. The Flavour parties are like that saying about insanity, "Insanity is doing the same failed thing over and over again expecting different or better results." A new or older better direction is needed.
The Flavour parties neither have the integrity, foresight, common sense, vision, BC loyalty, ability or depth to deal with what is coming or our safety, security and can not return us to our correct path to the future. Instead they lead us in circles going nowhere or internal power and entitlements. These parties are all run by the same elitist people and all end in the same place one getting there a little faster than the other, our destruction.
Only by direct participatory vote or direct government not just once every four years can the Restoration, Reform and Reversal of the damage be accomplished with you the people overriding bad, dangerous and out right evil decisions of Unaccountable Politicians, Multicorps, Judges and Political Parties masquerading as government. The Flavour parties must go and you the people must reassert your participation and vigilance to make your vote count. There is no point to holding your nose or deciding which is the least evil or will do the least harm and voting. Do it right, vote for yourself to count. Your time grows short so it is time to "wake up and pay attention" as your survival, future and democracy is fading fast. Do it while you still can and make a difference as May 12, 2009 may be the point of no return.

The key elements of a democracy are Free speech and thought, a martial means to protect yourself and neighbors from government plus foreign invasion, ability to consistently identify things, participation, knowledge, constant vigilance and a willingness to fight for it.

I am running for many reasons let me count the whys. I have been watching the country and the province rapidly decivilize over the last thirty years and have not been impressed by what I saw or experienced. I was even willing to put my life on the line for my fellow citizens by joining the Canadian Armed Forces to protect our people in natural disaster and war.
The evil, corruption, mismanagement of government, discontent and frustration of our people grows greater with every passing day and I knew that I had to get involved at a more direct level to protect our people and future. I have watched a rapidly growing corruption, disenfranchisement, complacency, demoralization, fear, weakness and decadence happening. I myself do not have children but I have a niece, many cousins with children whose future existence and opportunities depends on what happens in this next election and even I still have a future that I want to see better for myself and other British Columbians.
Our future and our very existence is being torn up under our noses and most people are doing nothing because of fear of government institutions attacking them if they speak out or take action to stop the creeping evil. Things like over taxation to pay for this creeping evil, the machinations of the Corpocracy and fear of our Government, artificially created life problems, deliberately made busy lives, making you deliberately work unnecessarily harder to hold on to some semblance of life and raise a real family has created inaction in our people to protect themselves.
Look to government and you have found the driving force behind crime and most of the problems in your lives. We currently have what is called an elected dictatorship with a false front democracy where you only get one vote on who is going to represent you once every four years. This is not democracy and you have no decision or input in matters and it is easily hijacked by small special interest groups using lobbying and other methods that leaves your civilization and security open to attack unless you have direct responsible say. This has been what has been happening over the last thirty plus years and now it is time to fight back and return to our true future of safety, security, and a stable challenging forward moving future where all benefit not just the few.
Our institutions are corrupt, mismanaged with make work corruption and any help you get with one hand with the other slaps you down. Most of our institutions such as Retraining, Assistance are full of make work corruption and mismanagement as an example.
Although British Columbia in 2005, 2006, 2007 and maybe 2008, enjoyed a fragile prosperity redolent of the "you never had it so good" years of the 1950s and 1960s, 1970s. Thoughtful citizens realize that this was built upon a foundation of rising debt, propaganda, false reports, boom economy boom, bust cycle, no money down, dangerous out of control credit, credit cards, foreign float financing, larger than reported inflation, proceeds of crime laundered in real-estate, destructive controlling foreign, domestic speculation and is therefore unsustainable. The present regime and its established opponents have without exception abandoned the attempt to run the economy and province for the benefit of British Columbians, surrendering simultaneously to forces that have no loyalty to this province or country or locally. People are attacked with propaganda of political money and power motivated science and media alarmism, fear mongering and hysteria, propagandisim. People are attacked by anything for a vote and power politicians that will betray you in the blink of an eye. The established mainstream parties seem to work under the BC for sale, sold or give away free model, which is unacceptable.
I with the help of my fellow Refeds running for MLAs and your help want to clean this horrible disastrous mess up and give you back your lives, future and province that is being taken away from you and your children.
I hope you will fight with us to regain you lives, security, safety, your province, democracy plus your descendants' futures.
Our difference is a vote for us is a vote for yourself to make your votes count and mean something again by direct vote you the people take charge of your lives again.
We will tackle the necessary real change or structural change in the 123 plan to fix our major issues that are Economy, Anti Crime, Corruption and Decadence, Restore Freedom and Democracy, Locally owed and controlled food production plus Food Safety and Security, Family and Citizen Support, Environment, Emergency Situation Response, a dysfunctional Canada
1 - PROVINCIAL CONSTITUTION - declare the citizens of this province to be the sole source of political rights in BC, thus allowing the citizens to write a Constitution of British Columbia that will define and limit the powers they grant to government.
2 - DIRECT DEMOCRACY [DD] - implement Direct Democracy based on the successful Swiss model as a right for the citizens of British Columbia, in order that all aspects of governance in the province are subject to the will of the people.
3 - REFEDERATION - simultaneously negotiate changes in the relationship between BC and the central government. That is the concept of Refederation. We will be the first province to propose a new confederation in order to reduce the power and corruption of the Ottawa bureaucracy, and to end the usurpation of our provincial rights. We will renegotiate the existing status between governments
