Why I chose to join the BC Refederation Party
The party platform speaks of returning the power of the Legislative Assembly to the people and allowing the people to veto legislation that does not provide a benefit to them - a transparency I look forward to.
The BC Refederation Party promises to work towards a positive change in the political environment of B.C. for the benefit of all British Columbians. Compare this platform to what the NDP and the Liberal political celebrities offer - their political actions and agenda have caused us all grief [economic despair, civil frustration and a greater struggle for our livelihood]. A change in the political landscape of B.C. is necessary.
We thought we lived in a democratic country and in a province that practices democracy, but unfortunately the citizens of British Columbia have chosen to relinquish all citizens' rights to democracy by electing the Liberals for two terms and the NDP in the past decade (the Glen Clark era). A mistake we all have made must now be corrected.
The time to correct it is now, at this 2009 election. Vote B.C.Refederation Party and let us hear the voice of the People. This is the reason for my association and participation with the B.C. Refederation Party, to serve the people of BC for a better British Columbia.
