This proud Metis woman was born in Edmonton Alberta, and raised and educated in British Columbia. I graduated from Royal Roads University in Victoria BC, with a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Environmental Management and I hold a Diploma in Business Administration from Okanagan College in Kelowna BC. I now reside in beautiful Penticton BC in the heart of the sunny Okanagan that I am devoted to. I’ve lived and worked around the Okanagan and Similkameen regions since 1977 and have established a solid reputation regarding honesty, integrity, and open-mindedness.
After completing such a varied degree I am convinced that I can make a difference in revamping our outdated political and environmental policies. Some of the goals I’d like to achieve are to improve and protect our quality of life through environmental integrity, and to help improve our health, taxation, voting rights, educational and judicial systems. Some policies I hope to revamp will reduce the use of synthetic fertilizers that kill bodies of water, reduce the demand on landfill, reduce methane production and hydroelectric demand, all while creating jobs for the public and more jobs and increased income for those big box food producers who spend money to convert to these new best management practices.
I have previously been a public servant in a variety of ways for many years and am now determined to represent the people of the entire Okanagan and Similkameen regions to provide its people new choices in an old, outdated political system. I believe the BC Refederation Party is the right party finally headed the right direction.
