I was born and raised in BC and have resided in BC throughout most of my career. My career profession as a System Engineer has given me years of personal work experience in and throughout B.C. This has also given me the opportunity to travel and has taken me to all corners of B.C., and other provinces. I have been employed by companies such as Trans Canada Pipelines, and I have also consulted for many others, including CP Rail. The skills I acquired from research, trouble shooting, and problem solving are an asset - they will allow me to listen and understand your concerns, and have them addressed accordingly.

For some time I have seen governments come into power with campaign promises. Once elected they do not carry through on their campaign promises. If anything they do a complete opposite. I promise you the people of B.C. I will commit to the plans laid out by the B.C. Refederation Party election promises. I am proud to be Canadian and a resident of B.C. and will commit to you the people.

I support the B.C. Refederation Party, because for once, we have an informed Provincial Party that recognizes equality for all people of British Columbia.

I feel that a direct democracy system is badly needed in BC as the citizens of this province have been at the mercy of their elected officials and backers. I am concerned about the way the elected officials and their backers are selling B.C. out to Elite corporations. B.C. residents have had little say in what happens to our public institutions and resources, and we the people are not properly informed of what is really happening to our Province.

The Elite have established themselves at the top, and you and I are left out in the cold, with no chance to voice your opinion or my opinion. We are not even be heard by our elected officials. This is very important and must be changed, not addressed, changed! This party will put the power where it belongs [with the people] and work for the people for a better quality of life.

As a proud Canadian and a lifetime resident of British Columbia, I humbly commit myself to the concerns and desires of our province's citizens. I believe in the power of not the people, but the power of our people. To be a representative of them and their wishes would be a great honor for me and I will elevate their concerns to the highest of my priorities in all decisions made for our future.

The Elite control the media, lobby groups and terms of debate, leaving the majority with no chance to voice opinions, let alone even be heard by our elected officials. I want to bring NAFTA, NAU, SPP and private.Run of River projects back into public focus. These plans need to be evaluated in public- not in secret."

B.C. contributes millions of revenue dollars each and every year. We are all aware that little comes back to benefit the B.C. residents - for example in our healthcare, education, natural resources, agriculture, and community services.

A new report from the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives says B.C. has the highest poverty rate in the country and has had the highest child poverty rate for five years straight. This is a great concern and must be changed for all.  The banks and financial institutions get millions of tax breaks and I feel the B.C. residents need the same break desperately, as our poverty rate is well known and is not being
addressed or changed.

BC needs plans with clear, legislated targets and timelines that can be used to measure progress and hold a government accountable, "Accountability is the key". Without legislated targets, we risk promises instead of action.

The need for action is clear and the solutions are known but not addressed. If elected I will address these concerns.

The B.C. residents I have spoken with are tired of receiving promises without change.  We need and want change.

The policy of the B.C. Refederation Party will give representation to all regions of B.C., and the policy will see voters of B.C. regions have greater input as to where their tax dollars are most needed, and as to where their tax dollars will be spent. Taxes should benefit each and every individual in B.C., rather than a selected few.

The B.C. Refederation Party is about "People Power," fairness and equality. What's most exciting about this provincial political party is that it makes common sense.

I am standing as a candidate for the B.C. Refederation Party because I believe strongly in this party's mandate. I also believe that it is due time for the residents of B.C. to have a personal voice and a vote in regards to issues that directly affect them.
