I grew up on the Shuswap reservation in Chase B.C. and was raised with the simple values of the people in that area. Early into my adult life I had one question at the forefront of my mind - Why were we being ignored as a Province? It doesn't matter which party holds the Federal majority, be it the Liberals or the Conservatives, all they think about is what is best for Ottawa. Liberals and Conservatives are Eastern-based Parties that always hold a majority in the Parliament, and the NDP Party that has risen to popularity here in the West is the party of unions. Where does that leave common working class folks in BC? I know it leaves me in the dark still looking for leadership.
British Columbines doesn't need any more empty promises; what we need is action and change. The only Party that gives us a fair shake is the B.C. Refederation Party. In the BC legislature they will fight for fair tax changes and implement a BC Constitution so that every man and women of BC will have a voice. The B.C. Refederation Party will get change done, so support me as we make history.
